This vintage bakeware oven safe bowl with lid from FireKing is a true gem for any kitchen or collector. The white, blue, and green floral design fromnthe collector Swiss Alpine design, and the round shape with a lid makes it perfect for baking and storing. It is made of milk glass and heat safe glass and can be used in electric or gas ovens. The bowl is 8 inches long, 9 inches wide, and 6 inches deep, with a height of 3 inches. The set includes two pieces: the oven safe bakeware bowl and the matching clear lid. The brand is FireKing, the style is Pyrex, and the model is Swiss Alps. The bowl is an original, licensed reproduction from the 1960s, and it has care instructions for hand washing only. The bakeware bowl is in mint condition - which is amazing for the age, and the lid looks really good but has 4 tiny chips and part of it is a little rough on the edges. It still looks amazing! With my photographing and lighting it picks up any tiny flaw and magnifies it, - it’s true vintage and not perfect but the bowl is close to it and has no discernible flaws, and the lid - while having some of the flaws I mentioned - is in pretty decent shape and fits and works well with the item, especially for display.

I don’t think this has ever seen the inside of a dishwasher, and hence the Swiss alps design isn’t faded to oblivion but looks superb.
