Mid century modern 1940s estate find in coastal Massachusetts - beautiful piece but also earthy and weathered from love over the years. Many decades of a vintage piece means flaws in these handmade items over time and wear but it is in a good condition. Please see the image gallery for 20+ images to see details of this piece of art. It appears to be a lithograph of some type affixed to the wooden backing with a brass loop to hang this icon. I personally think the faded patina and the markings on the front and back bring rustic charm to this renaissance / baroque style but the character is for vintage appreciation. I love the early mid century modern understated beauty of this.
There are pressed indentations on the front and back, please see images for a better look.
I’ve priced it low because of the imperfections. But I do think they are charming and add to the authenticity.
