What a beautiful piece and it's in stunning condition… Made in Japan in the 1940s or 1950s… True MCM mid-century modern, mid-century, this is a religious figure but it's also a work of art and a collectors item and it's rare, especially to be in such great condition… Please see the gallery for close-up pictures and measurements… It is wrapped extremely carefully with a lot of extra padding and cardboard and tissue and etc., so that the shipment is protective because shipping and delivery can often be quite brutal in my experience… But I have a long experience now of getting feedback for great shipping and handling… Because I care and I spend more of my own money in order to ensure that my pieces that I lovingly hand pick will go to their new homes and not break… Of course, sometimes things happen or the handling is really bad and there's nothing I can do it's beyond my control but as you can see in my feedback , I always have my customers back.

This piece is a rare and excellent condition 1950s Japan Sacred Blue Gold Star Madonna figure, made of ceramic. The statue features the Virgin Mary as the central figure, embodying the essence of a sacred past.
