I am writing a BIG Art and Culture Guide and Travel Book on Italy

Covid has shut down the travel and arts industry but I am working on a travel guide book for when life can resume again, even if in a new challenging way.

Like many many others in the world I haven’t worked except a few small one time freelance jobs for several months, so I realize people are enduring financial hardships and can’t even think about traveling for quite some time… but I also know covid lockdown has also inspired many to harbor a dream once in a lifetime trip to Italy or another bucket list place after being reminded of how short life is.

For those who are fortunate enough to be able to chase a travel dream in these uncertain times, or for those who are saving for a distant dreams when they can get their heads above water again one day, I want to provide affordable travel itineraries to follow these dream trip goals. I am writing a new spin on classic travel guide books on Italy but pack the book full of insider local knowledge, stories, tips, and off the beaten path recommendations to make your trip feel truly special. I also include photography, professional photo and video editing, and social media tips for the capturing the dreamiest instagram ready vacation shots.

And even more affordable: a (heavily illustrated with fine art photographs taken by myself) unique cultural travel guide focused on the Grand Tour for the 21st Century, including tourist iconic spots, hotels, apartments to rent, cafes, museums, ALL the rooftop cafes and bars

ALL the best photographic spots, the hidden corners of Rome, Quiet Rome, Green Rome, Rome for families, solo travel, golden years travel, student and backpacker travel, budget travel, the best disabled access travel, sober travel, pilgrimages, nightlife, culinary, shopping and fashion guide, and foodie guide (with extensive food allergy and special diets and a focus on local, fresh, seasonal, slow food Italy, Wine Italia, hipster Italy, classic la dolce vita, how and where and when to see operas, ballet, plays with subtitles, English subtitled movies, English and other languages bookshops, art stores, film (analog) camera shops and digital photo stores, finding a cell phone charger and chargers for your country’s electronics, how to fix your mobile phone or replace it without waiting for hours, getting the right international mobile phone data, call, and text plan so you don’t return home with thousands in charges, how to see a doctor easily or get medicine while abroad, which pharmacies to go to, where to find free wifi in one of the least internet connected countries, and day trips and day to day itineraries tailored to your desires and personalities.

I will be updating new travel blogs (about past trips and with new updated info) weekly while I work on the book!
