The make up bag is lined in vintage plastic to store makeup in - in a rectangular shape with a zip closure and is made of cotton with a quilted finish on the exterior. It has cute red hardware accents, and a zipper detail. These are collectors items - the truly classic makeup bags from the 1980s, 1990s, and y2k - in that rich and airy provincial / country French / shabby chic (color) / and Americana aesthetic.
The wallet / bag is 100% cotton, including the lining, and has extra zipper pockets. Also that fabulous Americana/ Provincial style.

Iconic early Vera. Great to use these bags within a travel bag, purse, or to display at home. The exteriors are in great shape - all cotton and the colors are vibrant and not faded or stained. Very clean. The interior cotton bag is in great shape and the flawed makeup bag interior cracked due to time, but is still iconic and I would suggest storing cleaner products in it that don't have a propensity to leak. The cotton bags are washable, gentle hand wash cycle and lay flat to dry.
